A few things people usually ask before they stock their shelf. If yours isn’t here, the guide section covers salt types in more detail.
About half a cup is a good starting point for a standard tub. If you prefer a stronger mineral feel or have harder water, you can go up to a full cup. For a foot soak, a couple of tablespoons are plenty. It’s easy to adjust once you see how it feels on your skin.
Salt itself doesn’t spoil, but the botanicals and essential oils in the blend will fade over time. We print a “best within” date on each pouch—usually 18 months from production. After that, the scent softens and the herbs lose a bit of colour, but it’s still fine to use as a plain soak.
For dry, itchy skin, look for a blend with Dead Sea salt and a carrier oil like jojoba or sweet almond. The magnesium helps draw moisture in, while the oil leaves a light film that locks it there. Avoid anything with heavy artificial fragrance—it can make dryness worse.
Mostly yes, but it depends on the grain size. Our fine-milled scrubs are gentle enough for the face and for people with reactive skin. The coarser sea salt scrubs are meant for the body and can be too abrasive if you have eczema or broken skin. When in doubt, do a small patch test on your inner arm first.
Yes. Every soak and scrub comes in a single-use sachet if you want to test it before committing. We also do refill pouches for the regular jars—same blend, less packaging. It’s an easy way to keep your favourites stocked without buying a new glass jar each time.
Keep them in a dry place with the lid sealed tight. A bathroom cabinet can get humid, so if you have the space, a linen cupboard or bedroom shelf works better. Moisture is the main thing that makes the salts clump and the botanicals lose their scent.

We are a small-batch studio, so visits are by appointment only. If you would like to pick up an order in person, let us know ahead of time.
For order questions, include your order number if you have it. For product advice, tell us your skin concern and which product you are considering.
Orders placed outside working hours are packed the next open day. Bath soaks are blended in small batches, so allow a little extra time around busy seasons.
Every enquiry goes straight to the people who blend and pack the products, not a call centre. If you ask about a specific salt or blend, we will check the batch notes before answering. For returns or exchanges, email us with your order number and we will walk you through the next step.
Whether you are unsure which soak suits your skin or need help with an order, we keep things straightforward. Reach out the way that works best for you, and we will get back with a practical answer.
Best for detailed questions about ingredients, custom gift sets, or bulk refill orders. We read every message and reply with specifics, not templates.
